Lu Jong Tibetan Yoga Retreat

Rooted in Tibetan Medicine, this practice is a series of movements that target particular points of the body to effectively release blockages, opening the grosser channels of the body. The result is greatly improved physical health, increased immunity, vitality and a balanced mind. For these reasons we call Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga.

This practice is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. There are modifications for all of the exercises to accommodate peoples’ various needs. Simply assuming a certain position and moving in a certain direction will already begin to place pressure on the right points and results will be felt.  

In Tibetan, lu means body and jong means training or transformation. Discover for yourself how these bodily practices can transform you inside and out.


Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Teacher Training

The movements of Lu Jong come from both Bon and the Tantrayana Buddhist tradition. They were developed thousands of years ago for the purpose of self-healing.

Tulku Lobsang has collected the movements into a very clear systematic practice that is accessible to all. It addresses the basic imbalances that we commonly experience in the west, and also calms and focuses our stressful minds.

No prior experience is necessary to join the Teacher Training. The only requirement is the wish to improve your own health and happiness, and the love and compassion to want the same for others.

Yandara's Yin - Restorative - Bhakti Yoga Training is 200 hour yoga alliance certified. You are also welcome to attend this program as a regenerative retreat or continuing education course. During these 16 days we will explore the principals and philosophy of Yin and Restorative Yoga, as well as the fundamentals of Bhakti Yoga. The time we spend together will be healing and nurturing for the body, mind and heart.
